What makes a ONE DAY experience so unique?

This ONE DAY experience offers you a new way of viewing your leadership and the way you lead. Through group interaction and in-depth teaching from experienced practitioners, you’ll step into the ground-breaking connection between your inner spiritual life and core leadership tasks.

This day will inspire and equip you and your team with the essentials of Emotionally Healthy Discipleship. You’ll be equipped with more than good ideas and abstract principles. Leaders will learn proven practices that will help you and your church move out of shallow discipleship, be deeply changed by Jesus, and actually become disciple-makers who transform the world.

Learn several proven leadership practices

SESSION 1: The Problem of Emotionally Unhealthy Leadership

85% of Christians say they’re stuck and stagnant in their faith. This leaves us constantly recycling the same relational conflicts among our people, unable to find mature believers to become leaders, and limited in impacting our churches to truly impact the world for Christ. This session will clearly lay out the complexity of the problem and set the stage for a long-term answer.

SESSION 2: Leaders That Go Back to Go Forward – Part 1

In this session you will construct a 3-4 generational genogram to look at your family of origin and consider its far-reaching impact on your own leadership, your building of mature disciples and the nurturing of a truly healthy, missional, countercultural community.

SESSION 2: Leaders That Go Back to Go Forward – Part 2

This session will examine the large implications of the “Genogram” to lead our people out of a shallow discipleship and into a deep experience of the gospel where they flourish in the new family of Jesus.

SESSION 3: Leaders Who Slow Down for Jesus

This session will address the indispensable need for both us, and our people to slow down for Jesus.  Why? Without a deep abiding in him, it will be impossible that our ministries bear lasting fruit – regardless of our numbers, programs or relevance to the culture.  We will look at the silence and stillness of the Daily Office and Sabbath-keeping as 2 key spiritual formation disciplines to slow our churches down for Jesus.

SESSION 4: Leaders Who Skillfully Love Like Jesus

Very few discipleship approaches equip our people on how to love others like Jesus. Over a 21-year period, eight tools were developed to implement Jesus’ teaching on how we are to do relationships in his new family of Jesus and to create healthy culture in the ministry. In this Session you will experience one of these skills and the wide implications of their use in the church.

SESSION 5: Leaders With a Strategy to Transform Their Church

Emotionally Healthy Discipleship is a radical discipleship paradigm with multiple layers and far-reaching implications for creating a radical, healthy church culture out of which we do our mission. This session will look at specific next steps to begin implementing this transformational discipleship model to your leadership and church.
