Designed with You in Mind

Often leadership can leave us spiritually dry, running on empty. In our sincere pursuit to help others, we neglect our own inner life with God, and the values we so easily preach about. In addition, our marriages, children, and key relationships receive ÒwhatÕs leftÓ after our work of ministry.

This conference is designed for men and women in leadership desiring to lead differently, from a place of emotional health and contemplative spirituality.

Biblical and Practical

In this two day intensive conference we will provide biblical back-ground and practical experiences that will launch you on a pathway of deep transformation and equip you with tools to take emotionally healthy spirituality into your church, leadership, marriage, and ministry.

What You Will Receive

  • A fresh look at a Biblical model for leadership
  • Learn how emotional health and spiritual contemplative practices can impact your leadership and management style
  • Embrace a fresh perspective for leading others without violating your personal health and walk with God and marriage
  • Experience new skills for dealing with leadership and staff conflict
  • Insights into the seven common leadership challenges
  • How to develop a rhythm for slowing down, setting healthy, balanced priorities and limits
  • Creating a Òrule of lifeÓ for a leadership culture that lives the values one preaches
  • 12 Tenets of Emotional Healthy Spirituality

The Experiential Difference

Unlike other conferences you may have attended, there is a strong experiential component in our conference that will guide you beyond listening to lectures into ÒdoingÓ the material. This includes morning and midday prayers (daily offices) together.

For many participants this has been one of the highlights of their time at the conference.

Pre-conference Seminar
Thursday, April 29, 2010 Ñ 10:00-5:00 p.m.

This one-day intensive workshop, presented by Pete and Geri Scazzero, flows out of the conviction: As goes the leaderÕs marriage, so goes the ministry.

Few greater challenges exist for those of us serving as pastors and leaders than developing a high-quality marriage. God intends that our marriage be the loudest sermon we give about ChristÕs love for His bride, the church. Our goal on this day is to provide both GodÕs revelation for our marriage and sexuality along with practical skills and tools to foster an authentic, thriving marriage.

Session 1: Your Marriage, Your Sexuality and Your Leadership: A Biblical Perspective
Session 2: Community Temperature Reading
Session 3: Incarnational Listening and Speaking
Session 4: Clean Fighting
Session 5: Crafting a Rule of Life for Your Marriage
Tuition: Before March 31, 2010: $99 per couple
April 1 - April 29, 2010: $129 per couple
