Movement Day Global Cities is a catalytic event designed to transform the world’s cities by focusing on impacting today’s urban issues through the Gospel, and collaborative leadership.

Pete Scazzero will be joined by Dr. Claude Alexander (Senior Pastor, The Park Church), Dr. Gabriel Salguero (Founder, National Latino Evangelical Coalition), and Rev. Dr. Nicole Martin (Executive Minister, The Park Church) for two afternoon tracks on Tuesday, October 25th to provide practical tools and recommendations to enable leaders to take their first steps in bringing the radical, countercultural model of discipleship found in Emotionally Healthy Spirituality to their contexts.

Objectives

  1. Educate participants in the core issues of a sustainable, long-term, discipleship model that deeply changes people, who then deeply change their church, community and city.
  2. Demonstrate how larger institutional and systemic injustices (e.g. power, privilege, racism) are uniquely addressed out of a paradigm of EHS.
  3. Address key roadblocks that must be addressed for long-term change.
  4. Provide models, in different contexts, of what has “worked” from seasoned panelists.
  5. Help each participant create a simple, next step, plan of action for their leadership context.
